Deborah Anderson

I am happy to be returning to teach at ATEAM this year. I have been a language arts teacher for the past twenty-five years in various venues: five years as a full-time language arts teacher in the Los Altos School District, ten years as a private writing consultant, two years as a vendor for Ocean Grove, etc. Last year was my first year teaching history at ATeam and I really enjoyed it! I have a BA in English Education and an MA in English with an emphasis in adolescent folklore. I have current CA teaching credentials in grades K-12 in both language arts and social studies/history. I am the mom of four great kids, ages 10 to 18, with four unique learning styles. They have been my best instructors on how to be a better and more effective teacher. Adjacent to my mom and teaching life, I enjoy good books, good chocolate, and traveling near and far.
