I come from a family of teachers/university professors and teaching is my lifelong passion. I have been enjoying teaching children for 7 years. I have taught various subjects over the years including ESL, Japanese Language, Russian Language for bilingual children, critical thinking and Geography.
I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and minor in Translation and also a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language for children by Moscow State University (MGU).
I am a TRIZ-certified teacher (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) and I also hold TRIZ level 1 specialist certification, working on Level 2 right now. I strongly believe that children should be taught to critically analyze information, to ask good questions, to solve problems with a lot of variables involved and to learn how to act in an unknown situation.
As a mother of three trilingual children (Russian, English, and Japanese) I have been enjoying homeschooling my children for the last 4 years.
